About
You are not looking for someone who can follow a project plan.
You are looking for someone who can build one from nothing, execute it across difficult terrain, keep stakeholders aligned when things get complicated, and hand you a report at the end that holds up to scrutiny. That is what I do — and I have been doing it for over a decade in one of the most operationally demanding environments in the world.
Who I Am
I am Felix George Amponsah — a Liberian development professional, executive leader, and strategic consultant with ten years of demonstrated performance managing donor-funded programmes, building community systems, directing multidisciplinary teams, and delivering measurable results across West Africa.
I am a Harvard University Aspire Leaders Fellow and a McKinsey Forward Program Fellow — a programme that admits fewer than 1% of applicants globally. I hold an MBA in Public Policy from the University of the Potomac and an unconditional offer for the MSc in Global Energy and Climate Policy at SOAS University of London (2026/27). I am also certified in Data Governance (UNITAR), Research Ethics (CITI), Civil Society Law of Africa (University of Pretoria), and Conflict Management and Peace Building (Optimal Impact Dynamics, USA).
I have managed over USD 57,450 in donor-funded programming with zero audit findings. I have delivered programmes serving 6,500+ direct beneficiaries. I have built a youth employment matching system — HDP Nexus — from concept to functioning pipeline. I have produced winning grant applications, feasibility studies, litigation research, policy briefs, stakeholder reports, and strategic plans for clients ranging from USAID to international NGOs to private sector organisations.
I am not a generalist who dabbles in development. I am a practitioner who has led organisations, managed crises, navigated government relationships, and delivered under pressure, in real places, with real stakes.
What I Do For Clients
*Project Management & Programme Delivery
I manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects from inception to close — workplans, budgets, timelines, risk registers, progress reporting, and final evaluation. I have managed concurrent programmes across multiple counties simultaneously without dropping a compliance obligation or missing a reporting deadline. If you need a project run cleanly and documented to international standards, I deliver that.
*Research, Feasibility Studies & Due Diligence
I conduct institutional research, litigation and media checks, market feasibility studies, baseline surveys, and stakeholder analyses. I work to international reporting standards — structured, sourced, and audit-ready. I have conducted field research across 15 Liberian counties and produced analytical reports for clients in the Netherlands, the United States, and across West Africa.
*Grant Writing & Donor Reporting
I write proposals that win funding and reports that retain it. I have written successful applications to USAID, NWGEP, FOHRD, and international development funds. I understand what review committees look for , theory of change, evidence base, cost-effectiveness, learning agenda — and I write to that standard every time.
*Workforce Development & Employment Systems
I built HDP Nexus — a strength-identification, skills-matching, and employer-connection pipeline that moves unemployed youth into sustainable employment. I understand workforce systems, labour market dynamics, and the gap between training and placement. If you are building workforce programmes, I have already solved the problems you are about to encounter.
*Strategic Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement
I have engaged at the highest levels with government ministries, international donors, community leaders, private sector organisations, and civil society networks across Liberia. I build relationships that hold — and I represent organisations with the professionalism and credibility that opens doors.
*Policy Research & Strategic Advisory
I analyse policy environments, produce strategic recommendations, and translate complex institutional landscapes into clear, actionable intelligence. I have done this for development clients, energy sector organisations, and civil society networks across Sub-Saharan Africa.
Who I Work Best With
*International NGOs and development organisations needing a reliable, professional local partner in West Africa
*Remote teams needing a project manager who is self-directed, communicates proactively, and delivers without hand-holding
*Organisations conducting due diligence, feasibility research, or market assessments in Liberia or the broader West Africa region
*Funders and implementing partners who need grant proposals, donor reports, or M&E frameworks built to international standards
*Companies and social enterprises building workforce, community, or partnership programmes in frontier markets
What Working With Me Looks Like
I respond within hours, not days. I ask the right questions at the start so I do not come back mid-project with problems that should have been anticipated. I document everything. I flag risks early. I deliver on time, and when something threatens the timeline, I tell you before you have to ask.
I do not overpromise and underdeliver. I do not disappear when things get complicated. I do not produce generic work and call it done. Every deliverable I submit reflects the standard I have maintained across a decade of accountability to international donors, government counterparts, and the communities I serve.
