Swahili Translator Needed – Remote Freelance Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled **Swahili Translator** to join our team for ongoing translation projects. If you are fluent in **English and Swahili** and have a passion for delivering accurate, high-quality translations, we'd love to hear from you. This is a fully remote freelance opportunity with flexible working hours and long-term project potential. Your responsibilities will include translating documents, websites, marketing materials, articles, emails, product descriptions, and training content while preserving the original meaning, tone, and context. You will proofread and edit translated content, ensure consistency in terminology, and adapt content to suit Swahili-speaking audiences through effective localization when required. The ideal candidate has excellent written and spoken English and Swahili, strong grammar and proofreading skills, and previous experience in translation or localization. Experience using CAT tools such as SDL Trados, MemoQ, Smartcat, or similar software is an advantage but not required. Attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, and excellent communication skills are essential.
