Proofreader Needed – Remote Freelance Opportunity

We are seeking a meticulous **Proofreader** to join our remote team. If you have an exceptional eye for detail, a strong command of English grammar, and a passion for producing polished, error-free content, we'd love to hear from you. This is a fully remote freelance opportunity with flexible working hours and the potential for long-term collaboration. As a Proofreader, you will review a wide range of content, including articles, blog posts, marketing materials, website copy, reports, business documents, product descriptions, and other written content. Your responsibilities will include correcting spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax, formatting, and typographical errors while ensuring clarity, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines. You will also verify that content maintains its intended tone and meaning before publication. The ideal candidate has excellent written English, outstanding attention to detail, and previous experience in proofreading, editing, or content review. Familiarity with style guides such as AP, Chicago, or APA is an advantage. Experience using Microsoft Word, Google Docs, Adobe Acrobat, Grammarly, or other editing and proofreading tools is also beneficial. Applicants should be highly organized, able to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive documents. A reliable computer and stable internet connection are required.
