Payroll Specialist Needed – Remote Freelance Opportunity

We are looking for a detail-oriented **Payroll Specialist** to join our growing team. If you have experience processing payroll, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations, we would love to hear from you. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and on time, calculating wages, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and taxes, maintaining employee payroll records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable labor regulations. You will also resolve payroll-related inquiries, reconcile payroll reports, prepare payroll documentation, and collaborate with the finance and human resources teams to ensure smooth payroll operations. The ideal candidate has previous experience in payroll administration, accounting, or bookkeeping. Strong knowledge of payroll principles, excellent numerical and analytical skills, and exceptional attention to detail are essential. Experience with payroll software such as ADP, Gusto, QuickBooks Payroll, Paychex, Xero, or similar systems is highly desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism are also required. Applicants should have excellent organizational and communication skills, a reliable computer, and a stable high-speed internet connection. Relevant certifications in payroll or accounting are considered an advantage but are not mandatory.
