Swahili Translator Needed – Remote Freelance Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled **Swahili Translator** to join our team for ongoing translation projects. If you are fluent in both **English and Swahili** and have excellent writing skills, we would love to work with you. This is a fully remote freelance opportunity with flexible working hours and the potential for long-term collaboration. Your responsibilities will include translating documents, websites, marketing materials, emails, product descriptions, training content, and other written materials while preserving the original meaning, tone, and context. You will also proofread and edit translated content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and grammatical correctness. Depending on the project, you may assist with localization to make content culturally relevant for Swahili-speaking audiences. The ideal candidate is a native or fluent Swahili speaker with excellent command of written and spoken English. Previous experience in translation, localization, or interpretation is highly preferred. Familiarity with CAT tools such as SDL Trados, MemoQ, Smartcat, or similar translation software is an advantage but not required. Strong attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, and excellent communication skills are essential.
