Proofreader

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly accurate Proofreader to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing written content to ensure it is free from grammatical, spelling, punctuation, and formatting errors while maintaining clarity and consistency. Responsibilities include proofreading articles, reports, marketing materials, website content, and other written documents. The role also involves correcting language errors, improving readability, ensuring consistency in tone and style, and verifying overall accuracy before final publication. Candidates may also collaborate with writers and editors to enhance content quality. Candidates should have excellent command of grammar, strong attention to detail, and the ability to spot errors quickly and accurately. Familiarity with style guides, editing tools, and word processing software such as Microsoft Word and Google Docs is highly desirable. The ideal applicant should be organized, reliable, and able to meet deadlines while handling multiple projects. Previous experience in proofreading, editing, writing, journalism, or administrative support is preferred but not mandatory.
